I'm a pretty big fan of the TV in general and the PVR in specific. Anything that gets these out to people in numbers is great as far as I'm concerned. If you look at penetration numbers Tivo is actually still sub 1 million users, with people trailing off fast below that. The number one unit is actually one of the integrated with Direct TV models (DISH I think). If I'm Tivo or ReplayTV, I'm getting my act together on licensing ASAP. Do it right and you are providing the interface for every cable box, TV, etc. that ships for the next 5-10 years.
