TGIF

I am desperately glad that it is Friday. I've got a ton to do this weekend, but I'm hugely looking forward to some time at home. The new job is a little bit overwhelming. I'm not sure the team I work on has a sense of how complicated the system they have built is in reality. I'm getting my head around it, but I’m looking forward to digging more deeply once I really understand.

I have a bunch of computer related stuff I was going to put up here, but then a little problem with the digital media reader killed most of the pictures. Lesson learned: Do not select move. For whatever reason that didn’t work well.

I also learned that the USB hub built into the new monitor (thanks) is USB 1.x not 2.x. There really is a big difference there.

I aspire to write a step by step how to for those interested in building their own machine from parts. Probably everyone knows this already, but it is sort of a mental restructuring for me.
